Trump's Deportation Force Is Arresting U.S. Citizens For Speaking Spanish
Trump is not focused on making the country safer by apprehending only violent criminals; he simply wants to run up the score with a flashy arrest statistic.

Before Donald Trump took office, MAGA supporters insisted that they love legal immigration. If you haven’t broken any laws, they said, you have nothing to fear.
That pledge fell apart almost immediately upon Trump taking the oath of office on Jan. 20, when his long-promised war on immigrants began (I wrote about that here).
The latest example of the new president terrorizing U.S. citizens comes out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
According to Telemundo, a Puerto Rican family was detained by ICE after they were observed speaking Spanish — oh, the humanity.
Adrian Carrasquillo of The Bulwark noted, “[A] man tells Telemundo his sister, mother in law, & a child were taken by ICE in Milwaukee & driven to facility where his sister explained that they’re US CITIZENS.”
The best response that ICE could muster when they realized the folks they arrested did nothing wrong? “Sorry.”
